Hmm, yes, it was a genious idea.

Do I talk too much? my posts always seem very long compared to other peoples'

haha, no not all! I enjoy reading your posts. I'm just usually doing several things at once so they tend to be shorter

thanks, I take great pride in using words like 'slam' and 'shake violently'. It tends to add some excitement.

What are you multitasking at now? o.O (I like that smiley. I learned it a few years ago from a friend

Ah, you buying chickens? Awesome! I can hardly handle the four I've got already - although two of them are getting old and dad's threatening to cull them coz they lay less now

I used to have two pekins we bought off a friend as ducklings - by the time they were a few weeks old, our garden stank. We tried to dig a pond, but it dried up so we had to make do with huge buckets of water. lol - and in australia too!

we ended up putting them on the river in our city, where the male lives now. somebody keeps taking the female away for long periods of time then putting her back - we think to get her eggs

It rains here a lot so they swim in the ditch and stuff, I sometimes pail water out for them to swim in. Is it really dry where you live?

Lucky, you have a ditch. If we did, it would've made things so much easier!

It practically doesn't rain in the summer here. If it does, it's all over the news. It's just 40 + degrees every day, but winter is fine. It gets quite wet in winter

OMG I would just die. 40 + degrees!! INSANE. Here we're lucky if it hits 30 lol I hate the heat

Yeah, me too, it really bugs me because I have to sleep with the fan at night, which is very noisy and I have to stuff something over my ears. which makes me hotter, lol.

In england, it was lucky if we ever got to 25 degrees! Everyone would go running for the beach!
