"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSQUAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Duck dived and grabbed a very, very large fish. He presented it to Arlanda and dropped it at her feet. "Quaquaquaqua."

Arlanda squawked as the splat of the fish sent fishy water droplets splashing over her head.

'Thanks, duck. I'm sure this is going to be QUITE a delight to eat.' Arlanda frowned as she examined the fish, wondering where to start.

The fish flapped and its tail slapped her in the face.

Duck hissed at it and stabbed it's head, killing it quickly. He removed some of the inside flesh and set it on a large, dry, bowl-ish shaped rock. "Quaquirquaqua." (Translation: "It tastes better to chickens when it's dried out.") He took it's head away. He took off the scales and hid them out of sight.

Arlanda eyed the sliming mass of fish on the bowl-rock. It slipped and slid around. She frowned and turned to see duck retreating with a handful of something shiny.

'What are you going to do with those?' Arlanda pecked tentatively at the fish. Hmm... it was actually pretty good. The flesh had a rich taste to it. 'Quack, quack!'

Duck returned with the scales on a string, which he had tied into a hoop. The fishy smell was gone. He slid it over Arlanda's neck.

Arlanda chuckled chirpily at the necklace. 'Thanks, duck. It's beautiful!' The scales glistened in the sunlight. They were slightly greenish. To match her feathers!

Arlanda chuckled again. 'Now, won't you join me?' She dug her beak into the dry fish.

He nodded proudly and took a peice. "Quaaaaaaaaaa..." (Translation: "Yummmmm...") He lifted the rest of the body off of the ground, wrapped it in some thick plant sheets and, after making sure it was wrapped tightly, buried it in some soil to keep it fresh, for it was a gigantic creature.

She smelt the delicious aroma of the fish and the plants mixing together. 'How'd you find him, duck? That must've been pretty hard to haul up!'

He looked into the water carefully and slowly went into a very deep part. "Quas! Conna!" (Trans: "Careful! Very dangerous!") He waited for Arlanda to come in. He suddenly dived again and brought up a rosy, copper colored fish with sharp teeth, still snapping. "SQUANAFEE!!!" He brought it out.

Arlanda chuckled, tentatively wading into the river. Duck really was a natural at catching enormous fish! She eyed the copper scales.

The fish flapped violently and a huge tidal wave crashed over Arlanda, drenching her. 'Oops!' she clucked. 'Well, I guess that's half the fun of it!' She dived down with duck too, surprised at how natural she felt in the water.

"SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSS!!!!" Duck pushed under Arlanda and sent her flying into the air just before a three foot long fish jumped after them!

'Duck!! Careful!! He looks violent!' Arlanda shrieked, crashing into the bank. Sand stuck all through her wet feathers. 'Ow...'

She looked back into the water as the three-foot monster retreated in a swirl of muddy current.
