Adam pulled the foal next to him, gently making it lay down in a non-painful way.
"You should have... Told me earlier. I want to know when something like this happens, not when the foal's already born!..." Adam sighed.
It squeaked fearfully as it was pulled away from its mother, exposing its curled over front legs and abnormally small, mishapen hooves.
"I was meaning to but...It was too painful for me. I'm sorry," she said, her glum eyes focused on the heavily deformed, runtish foal. "Poor thing," the mare mumbled.
