Aglaia curiously watched it melt off, washing the water over the crystal still very gently.

Amethyst continued to cleanse the foal.

Aglaia, continuing with the cleansing, wondered how long this was going to take.

His belly was revealed, it was about the same as before. Small.

Aglaia bit her lip, but continued, hoping that the colt would be alright.....

Soon the rock disolved completely, the whole foal simply floating on the water. Amethyst carefully pulled him to shore. Unfortunately, he wasn't any better. The mare heaved an unhappy sigh and shook her head. "Some things just weren't meant to live. If us unicorns cannot heal it, then no one else can. It is also a hint that he wasn't fit for life at all," she said in a melancholy tone. "At least we tried."

"We need to bring him back. And once we're down with the horses again, we will need to flash their minds with our horns to make them forget about us. Our identities must remain a secret, even after we come down to help," the mare replied.

"Alright." She said, nodding her head.

She nodded again, turning to face the broken colt. He was as dead as a doorknob. "And because I'm due for a foal very, very soon...This one might become mine once born. All foals who die a day too early come up to live with us."

"Tommorow will be best."
