They're about the same size. But I just wondered.

He watched his victim closely, not letting go with his teeth grip.

With a loud bellow of challenge, Remus charged, ramming the large horse in the shoulder before rearing into the air and scrabbling at the stallion's barrel with his sharp hooves. His short-cropped mane flew wildly around as he neighed, hoping he had got to Joseph in time.

The Clydesdale reared and reached a tall height, putting his large hooves onto Remus's shoulders and flinging him to the ground over Joseph. He kicked him repeatedly in the belly until it was covered in blood and gashes.

Again, the stallion called for all of his horses to come back to their herd, "We are done! Let's go back!" He yelled.

They ain't getting any of MY characters to go.
JOseph got up woozily and started kicking again, breaking his jaw.

Ahem....

Yang, who had been watching SkyHerd from a hill, unable to stay away from the only place she had ever called home, was quiet as she watched the fight from above. The idea came into her mind that while she could never live with these horses again, she could make her own herd and help them when they were in trouble. Silently, she turned and walked away to wait out the battle.

A band of rogues to steal mares. Almost over now.

Not to steal mares. They are there to kill and injure horses.

"Gemma!" Layla screamed.

Gemma heard her mother calling, but she stood, paralyzed, behind a few bushes near the forest border. Her eyes widened and she shivered as she heard the commotion, the screams, the cries of pain. With a small, frightened whinny, she crouched against a nearby oak tree, out of sight, and huddled against the cool bark. Her eyes were shut tight, wishing with all her might for the horrible sounds to go away.

The Clydesdale kicked out at his victims once more and went in a swift gallop, leaving them behind. The other horses came and followed.

Sprite neighed angrily, and charged, using her light weight to her advantage as she leaped onto the stallions back and crashed her hooves onto his head, rendering him unconsious. "Remus!" she screamed
