Sprite groaned in her sleep, then muttered nonsense to herself.

Phoebe, who was in the general area but never saw the stallions depart, turned her gaze towards the injured mare's direction. "Sprite!? I haven't seen you in ages!" she exclaimed fearfully, strutting closer to her and inspecting her wounds gently with her muzzle. "What did they do to you?" she muttered.

Sprite's eyes flickered open at her voice. "what...? Where am I..?" she said quietly, her voice raspy.
