Please confirm my suspicions....or not

8 weeks old? I say roo. My BR roos had black on their legs so that's not 100%. I have two pullets now that haven't even a hint of red in the comb and no wattles and they are 16 weeks old. :)

100% rooster!
My neighbors rooster(your boys twin) crowed at 5-6 months of age, maybe later. He has attacked his owners 4 times, not pretty. They are suppose to be a docile breed.
Look, he's on the left. He was picked from the pullet bin. He's a year old in this pic.

What an awesome picture!

yeah, the other two have no wattles at all and very small, light combs. he's starting to act more aggressive than the others now also. he's the only one who will get close enough to me to take food from my hand. a dn he's quick to grab food from the hens. again, color-wise, they all look pretty close. but they aren't pure BR, so who knows. I'll try to get tail feather pics this weekend.

I don't think that would be a pure barred rock rooster.. It is a rooster though.. Purebred barred rocks have roosters with lighter barring and females with darker barring. Here's an example:

see the girl at the back? The two side chicks are cockerels, and the one in the front is a pullet also - she's just feathering in slower.
