Hi all I'm new here so please be nice. I'm new to this page and new to being a crazy chicken lady!! I've just welcomed 4 bantam chicks to our home, I dont know what sex they are yet hoping you can help a girl out and shed some light. I'm guessing I have 3 of one and 1of the other, chick 2 just looks so different, and has noticeably bigger tail feathers and wings than the other siblings.
Ive Got loads to learn and looking forward to it TIA xx

I’m sitill new to all this but I think the wing feather trick only is accurate for certain breeds and in the first few days. Ours are about 6 weeks now and combs & waddles are just starting to develop to give me thoughts as to who is what. As they grow the next few weeks I’d watch the personalities, do any come at your hand when it goes in or do they run away? Cockerels tend to act more bold than the chicks do. They are super cute, enjoy!

Thank you!
Ive heard this too but as the one chick is so completely different to the other 3 I'm assuming it's an indication of the sex 🤔 x
