PLEASE HELP ASAP

This egg was the only one, it was a wild egg I took in cause the mom abandon it. I know it was alive at one point because it was moving around inside the egg a bunch during candling around 15 days ago. Would it hurt to poke a hole away from the chick itself to see if its actually dead. I would do this outside so it doesn't stink up the whole house
It won't do the egg any good if it is still alive.
Can you candle it again in a dark dark room and get a few pictures of it?

If it stinks then it probably is not good.

I would be very careful that it doesn't explode on you.
OH NO! okay:< Would it hurt the chick if it was alive and I poked a hole away from the chick itself to really make sure it's dead. I've read so many horror stories about people Cracking open eggs that are still living.

I am going to say yes.
I would not poke a hole in it.

no need to poke any holes in eggs.
eggs have been hatching for a long time without any interference ..
If the egg has an odor like a boiled egg it is OK.
if it is bad, there is no doubt .

when I was hatching several hundred eggs at a time, and I could smell a bad egg. I just took the trays and passed them under my nose. It is easy to pick one bad egg out from 4 dozen in a tray..

bad eggs do not always explode..

I used a normal flashlight on one of the photos and my iphone

This is what it looks as of right now.
I am going to have to say this egg is no where near close to hatching. :(

When you look in this air cell are you seeing any veins or any movement at all.
And sturdy duck like movement or and swishy water like movement?
