PLEASE HELP ASAP

I have had duck eggs go two or three days beyond due date.
If that is all it smells like it probably is not bad.
a rotten egg smells like burnt sulphur and then some..
I would just leave it alone and let it try to hatch..
all this monkeying around candling and handling it will probably kill it..
IMHO

Okay, I'll let it be for a few more days and see if the smell intensifies. I'm just scared I accidently killed the little guy.

I'd probably go ahead and leave it for another day or so just to see what happens.

Really fast update, I was watching the egg for any sign of movement in the incubator and I noticed this mark, it kinda looks like a bruise. Should I be worried?

Probably. I don't think it's a good sign. Does it smell worse this morning?

BTW ..I think you mentioned you did a water test of some kind. I am not a fan of putting a live egg in water, please don't ever do that again.

The smell was still the same today so I decided to call it and say it's dead. I opened him up to see how far along the chick even was and he was super tiny and hard to find. Maybe 11 days old if that? I'm super sad, I was doing everything right from what I read. If I did get more ducks in the future do you recommend any good incubators?
