Please help. Breed? Sex?

I adopted this chicken from the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue. She was part of a rescued hoarding case. At the time we thought banty pullet. She grew to standard size so she is not a bantam but what breed and sex? He/she just lost that little chick peep so she is young.

Pretty barred rock hen. Dominiques have rose combs, rocks have straight combs.

I'm actually going to go against the grain here and say it's a barred Rock cockerel. It looks like there are saddle feathers in front of the tail and long thin pointy hackle feathers.

i think its a Cuckoo Marans roo

there are saddle and hackle feathers there which also makes it a roo

also notice the leg color isnt yellow like a br but more of a paleish off white like the marans and the tail is more of a marans than br also
