The dosing my husband mathed out was:
1 tablespoon per gallon
Qtr Teaspoon per quart (baby chick waterer)
Also you can put the diluted med in watermelon if they aren’t interested in drinking the water. It feels more like a treat. That’s what my hen wanted

I will, I am praying that she just didn't eat enough grit for a piece of food. Thanks for the information! I am stocking up my chicken first aid kit.
