Please help!!! Chicks skull is showing!

We got chicks back in March and one of them ended up having a leg injury that we couldn’t fix and the most humane thing we could do at that point was to put her out of her misery. There’s a pretty fast way to do it for chicks. (This method won’t work for larger birds) put your chick in a plastic container with a lid and then put a mixture of vinegar and baking soda in another container inside the box . And shut the lid so the fumes will euthanize your chick. It happens within three seconds at the most. Just in case you need to do anything like that in the future! It is easy and painless for the chick and owner!

So sorry! In general if you see bone or grey near the head they are an immediate euthanasia case. You did your best to try, but I don’t imagine there is much to do.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will know what to do if this happens again. Thanks for the soport everyone. Thank you.❤
Sorry for you’re losses.
I do hope there will be no next time a chick get beaten up to nasty. Pleass provide a separate coop/run for a broody with chicks before you let a broody sit on eggs to hatch. If broodies get along well you can have 2 broodies on 1 nest. But its not okay to have 2 ore more nests next to each other. Chances are they interfere and peck on each others chicks.
What happened is not a coincidence.

If you can’t make /buy separated and safe hatch places its better to break the broodies attempts to hatch.

Thanks you for the love and support you guys gave me. Thank you from the bottom of my hart. This is may 2 year having bantams and this has happened 3 times now with all loses. Thank BYC for helping.
