and one of my store bought eggs have a pip. on the bottom, again.
this time I am just going to leave it and hope it can get it's self out.

I really have to thank kathy so so so so much for helping me through this, it was dificult not knowing what to do and she told me everything I needed to know and heaps more.
if you lived closer I would take you to lunch or something but since your half the world away I really don't know how I am ever going to be able to repay you.
so thank you again on being so kind

I am so happy to have been here. The pleasure was all mine. Actually, though, I did nothing. YOU did one fantastic job there, young lady! Bravo to you!

I love your pictures. They are sure the cutest! Keep in touch!

we lost another one last night. I came in to check them and one was behind the water so I moved him under the light and the others kept stepping on him so I moved him in the intesive care box where he kept gasping and having convolsions untill he died. I don't know why he died, I thought that he may have gotten stuck behind the water but unless he was already really weak he would have been able to get out just fine. so I am thinking that there was somthing wrong inside

when will I be able to take them outside for like ten minutes or something to scratch around?

and what treats cane I give them now? like, I now guinea fowl love lettuce but are they old enough to eat it yet?

I know nothing about guinea fowl. I don't know if they even eat the same as chicks????

You are probably correct ... most likely something going on inside, to cause the convulsions and death. I am so sorry you lost another. Darn it ... You did such an excellent job hatching those birds!

Mine usually seem to be pretty sleepy the first day or two. They aren't real active until after that. That is what I have observed.

Oh yea, you are in summer season there ... yes, they will love it outside in the nice sunshine! Some people let them out, on ground, at early age, others wait. I dunno .... anytime you decide, I think!

thankyou. I'll see how they are this afternoon then I might take them outside for a little while.
One of them is sleepier then the rest and doesn't have much energy. I hope he's ok
