Oh yes, I know exactly how you feel! Better get that coop built ... they are growing fast now!

Another guinea fowl has hatched, one zipping and one pipped.

We are going away for over a week in a few days and leaving my babys here

on the good side there will be someone staying here looking after them all.

and I will be getting more eggs to hatch not long after we get back. I have it all worked out already.
12 silkies. we have decided on blue.
12 pekin. don't know what colour yet.
as many guinea eggs as we can find.
and maybe some buff orpingtons maybe some polish frizzles.

The one that was zipping I had to help out because he was stuck in the membrane. and this morning I woke up to a SILVER yippppeeeeee

out of about 25 keets ( I opened the ones that died ) 1 lavender. This one is definately a keeper

well, we are back from our holiday and the chickens are HUGE, I just can't get over how big they are. I will post some pictures of them tomorrow.

I have pictures loading now. Today I opend their brooder and the guinea fowl all flew out everywhere. On the roof, on the car roofs, in the thick bushes and anywhere else they could find. It was a good work out catching them too
