Please HELP!! diaretic needed for sick hen

Hi All first time on here I just hope someone can help, Ive got an ex battery hen with an infection which she is being treated for but she has really bad water retention and my vet can't see her again until tomorrow evening can anyone recommend anything I could get over the counter or naturally to make her more comfortable in the meantime?
she is eating well, she has had an antibiotic injection (baytrill) and is now on an oral course of the same she seems to be doing well it's just this water retention problem, (it makes her stand like a penguin!!!)

in addition to the suggestions in the article above...avoid ANYthing with salt... nettle (tea) is bacteriocidal and mildly diuretic.
