Please help! Do I need to put coconut oil on pip?

Pics
I had 1 Spitz, 3 CCL, and 2 of Mally's eggs that went into lockdown. After looking into my shipments more to double check the hatch date, I realized that one of the CCL came in a separate order than the others (it came in an order of 4 eggs and 2 of those eggs arrived broken so I set the 2 intact eggs and didn't write on them so I could tell the difference ~ I write the date that I set the egg in the incubator now. Only 1 developed and made it to lockdown). That egg is 2 days behind the others, so today was Day 19 for that egg. It was alive when I candled I before moving it. I had already put them together whenever I realized that it was 2 days behind the others. I'll candle it whenever I take the chicks and their eggs out. I'm going back through and getting their brooder rearranged. Theirs was smaller than the Serama's, so I moved the Serama to the smaller one since it's alone and the new chicks will go into the now cleaned Serama brooder with the heat lamp. With the Serama, I had the heat lamp on one side and the heat plate on the other side. I was hoping it would try out the heat plate but it doesn't look like he did. He's trying it out now, but very suspiciously :) He is halfway under it and keeps looking back at it. I think he understands it's warm but he's not sure if it's going to kill him or not. Maybe he doesn't realize that he had one in his brooder this entire time. Silly bird. He is too cute! I am so anxious to move the new chicks! I'm trying to find out about Corid. Since every single bird here is being treated with the severe outbreak dosage for another 2 days and then going to the maintenance dosage for another 7 to 10 days, I'm not sure if I should start these chicks on Corid or just keep an eye on them.

Dont start the new chicks on corid unless they're showing symptoms. That's good about the brooders. I'll be back in an hour, and read through the posts more.

I'm not sure about the other CCL. I may have 2 CCL cockerels. The newest hatcher is fluffing up, but I'll be able to tell more once I get them out. I am so thrilled that all three are here! I can't get over the size of these chicks! I've had day olds before and the majority of my birds are large fowl, but hatching them, the size difference between these and the bantams I've hatched is CRAZY!!! Would you advise me to use a heat lamp instead of the heat plate with these? I am still using the heat lamp and the heat plate with the Serama Chick, but he stays under the heat lamp from what I can tell. I purchased another heat lamp today but was only able to purchase a 250 watt bulb. That just gets so hot and seems to heat up my entire shop. I got the reptile bulb over a year ago, with my first flock, when I quickly realized how hot the 250 watt bulb was. I'm using the reptile bulb with the Serama. I was thinking about putting both brooders in the tiny shop bathroom and closing the door. I can shine the light in the brooder of the new chicks and the bathroom should get warm enough for the week and a half old Serama. Both brooders will have their own heat plate. What are your thoughts on this? I thought about putting them in with the Serama but they're already larger than the Serama and they're supposed to have 95° while the Serama has been at 90° for the past few days. I thought that the Serama was quite large today but now that they've all hatched, I realized the Serama is tiny still. Good tip about the biosecurity! I am treating every one in each of my flocks with Corid and some with Corid and Sulfa. The Serama hasn't had any symptoms, but I started him on Corid whenever I started everyone else, even though he doesn't get to spend time anywhere except for his brooder in the shop bathroom and if my daughter or I are holding him. Thank you for mentioning that. I certainly don't want these chicks to have to battle coccidia. I don't want that for them and I don't want that for me.
I want to thank you again for all of your help and support. I wouldn't have these 3 chicks without your support. Several times today I wanted to reach in and grab this other CCL egg and assist. I don't know what your voice sounds like but I could hear what I think it would sound like, guiding me and telling me to not rush it and asking me how long it's been pipped. That voice (you) kept me from possibly killing this chick by intervening too early. It was able to hatch on it's own and I appreciate all of the support and knowledge you've shared with me over the past several weeks.

I'll get some better pictures once I get them out of the incubator. The latest CCL is fluffing up very quickly!

Side note; oh my goodness! I guess the multiple chicks is what has caused the down buildup on the incubator! With my hatches being smaller usually, this seems like so much down!

With the last CCL egg having 2 days left, do you suggest that I just leave everything like it is whenever I take the chicks and their eggs out? Mally's eggs are on Day 21, I believe. I should probably try to candle them. I got some new batteries so maybe that will help with candling them. If I can't see anything, should I just leave them, along with the other CCL egg? Leave humidity where it is, 64%?
Thank you so much for everything!
@MGG
Can you tell the genders on the CCLs any better yet? If you got one pullet I'd say you're very lucky. I've had hatches where they're all boys, yikes. LF chicks do look super big compared to banties! They look huge before they fluff up. They still look big once they fluff up, but they mostly take on the fuzz ball look, lol.
I think I answered your heat lamp question, but if there's something confusing let me know. I never really check the temps in m brooders honestly, you can read the chicks' body language really accurately most of the time. Also, if you get a free moment I'd love to see a pic of the Serama. I'm sure he/she is adorable. Is it feathering out dark still?
I hope you get the whole coccidiosis issue under control (if that's really what the problem is. Have you considered having a fecal float done?) very quickly.
Aw, I'm sure you'd still have them. I'm glad I've been able to assist you on your "journey" though. I am always so nervous I'll tell you something wrong. I consider everything very carefully before telling you what to do. I'm SO happy this worked out so well. Hopefully this means you'll have better luck start coming your way.
Yes! I know that feeling well. The urge to assist, lol. Awesome job with the restraint. I know it's hard to stay strong. That's great he was able to hatch on his own though! I think it really is better for the bird to hatch on its own. Assists usually make it, but the ones that hatch on their own almost always thrive. They are so cute. I can't wait for more pics!
The incubator gets yucky fast, huh? I've found that if you get a shop-vac and reverse it so it's blowing air out, yo can blow the lid out really well. Don't tip the lid upside down though, I've heard it messes up the hygrometer or something.
Yeah, leave humidity around 60% until you get another pip. Then up to 65% or so. Definitely try candling Mally's eggs. Hopefully they're getting close.

Oh, ok. That makes sense ;)
Good idea with the brooder swap. LF chicks grow fast. Little Axle (or Marionette) will figure out the plate fast. Like I said earlier, just shove him under it often. He'll start using it on his own. He sounds so cute. Is he still cuddly? If you haven't already, you can move the new chicks to the brooder now. Yeah, don't start the new chicks on corid unless they're showing signs of being sick. Hopefully that doesn't happen though. Just keep everything separate, and don't touch them after handling the other birds until you scrub, lol.
I think they'll be ok though. They look very strong and healthy to me.

I just happened to take some pics of the Serama a day or two ago! He is far more cuddly than he's been. I was so afraid of him escaping my hands before that I didn't take both hands off of him while holding him. He is calming down and becoming much easier to love on.

My daughter says he has a "cow lick" on the side of his comb. I'm not sure if maybe the quail drinker he is using is doing that or what. The drinker seems to fit him well still but I plan on getting him a regular drinker today. He also has one small brown dot off to the side of the back of his head. He looks like a spoiled rotten little boy to me. He is such a cutie and he knows it! Thank you for helping me save him!

I just noticed that the brown dot on his head is showing up in the pictures. It looks more on the top of his head in these pics. He is just so sweet
