You could also try moving your light to one end, instead of in the middle, that way they can go to the other end to get away from it if needed

I did, when I took the photo I had just finished cleaning their cage I am also in the process of making their temporary coop so they can play outside and swim in their bigger pool while we finish their actual coop. The niacin seems to be helping them a lot! They both seem more active, definitely walking more, swimming more, and happier! They're also starting to warm up to me more
