Please help gender and breed me

Bet this has been asked billions of times but help!
I was given two fluffy chicks as a present from my neighbours but I speak English and them spanish so communication is abit iffy!!
Now the chicks are young chickens and I am sure bbq is a rooster?? The morning he/she made a loud noise..not a crow as such just a loud ""craaaa" but i known hens to be loud to.. so is it a he/she?? And what breed Is it?? I am told that there little pretty chickens with big puffy tails?? And there approximately 16 weeks old..give or take a couple of weeks.. the pictures are of bbq..my other chicken is snow-white bit im sure she's a she.

Hello welcome to BYC. How old is he? To me he looks like young Cockerel, wattle and comb looks quite developed and the red is showing. He looks about 6-8 weeks old.
Others with way more experience will be better to answer.

Wait 16 weeks!?! Now I'm not sure.

How long have you had him/her? Has the comb always been that red? If he's that small he is probably a bantam breed of some kind, maybe a mixed breed. Hopefully someone more familiar with bantam/game birds/ small breeds will chime in.

Doh, I had chicken brain!
There not 16 weeks old atall moreileostomy 12..iv had them 8/9weeks and got them when they were roughly 4 weeks!
