Please help! Hurt babies

I'm not sure if its normal. I thought maybe it was because she had so many and her body is small. She is a game hen. The batch that hatched in January were hatched by another game hen and she was an excellent mama but she only hatched 4 out of 6.
Hi, so she is a Rock Cornish hen, ? That hen is not very heavy, those chicks must be very small indeed.

She is similar to this one except she is darker in color. Kinda like she has some RIR mixed in her.

I'm very sorry for your lost chicks. If the remaining chicks are low on energy electrolytes(save a chick) work awsome

. You can get it at your local feed store for about 50 cents a pack.
My rooster got attacked and wasn't doing good so we gave some to him and within 2 to 3 day he was doing so well we took him out with the other chickens.

Hey, I'm new to back yard chickens and I was wondering if somebody could tell me how you start a thread

(ask a question).

I had this same problem. Go to the top of this page, and the box forum nav: click the little arrow and choose the topic you want. You will see start a new thread. I hope this gets you there.

. It's hard to find your way around if your not very familiar with the website. Last night we got 3 new ducklings

for the first time and the yellow one was swallowing frequently and not walking or standing up for very long so I wanted to start a thread and see if somebody could help but I couldn't figure out how. Today it's doing better and running around with the other ducklings.

Excellent!! Yeah the shipping takes a toll on them! With some tlc they come around. I really like ducks but I have to choose chickens or ducks. My husband is probably ready for the chicks to get grown up! I am in and out a million times a day checking on them. I even worry at night! It has been so cold and windy here...if the power were to go out... and I dident know.. omg. So I do have the generator on stand by just in case. That will probably not happen but better on the safe side!! My chicks are now almost 2 weeks, but I bought 5 baby turkeys today! So back to being my hen like self!! HA!

Awwwwww That's awesome. What kind of chicken are the chicks. We have a mix of different kinds of chickens. My favorite type of chicken is the bard rock. When the ducklings are old enough to go to the bigger pen we want to get 4 new chicks. We want to get two Americana's' 1 Bard Rock and 1 Australorp so we get different colored eggs.
Here is a pic of the ducklings playing. I put there names near them so you know who is who. Sorry it's a little fuzzy.

Has the hen that hatched out these babies been laying eggs long or has she just recently started to lay?

She has been laying eggs for a couple of months but this is her first time ever hatching any.

I really love them all!! They dash for me when I go to see them(because I always bring food) Their brooder is 9'x5' I started them in a 2.5x3.6 wood box they out grew that really fast. I cleaned it out and now the 5 turkeys are in it. They have a ton of space!! I have everything really insulated, it is supposed to warm up some tomorrow.
