I am looking to make my own incubator. I'd like to save on the cost of an incubator store bought that might end up breaking since they are Styrofoam and my son can easily puncture it or my puppy can. Creating a wood one would be durable, Less costly and it can be made into a brooder after. I'd like it to be a wood incubator with a Plexiglas door. But I have no idea really how to build it. Sure I know how to build the box and Plexiglas door but I know there's more to it than that. It needs a heat source. It needs to keep heat inside. I would add an automatic egg turner rotater. And it would need a fan and grate to put water below. Am I missing anything? I also would like to make sure I place and install all these correctly too. If anyone has any experience in this please give me all the info you can thanks.
