Please help me rehome my 3 chickens

I have 3 sweet chickens that need rehoming. They 4 years old and very friendly, but the city of Morehead is making me get rid of them. An Isa Brown, Polish hen and Plymouth Rock. These girls will follow you around and eat from your hand. They do not deserve to be destroyed. Please help me rehome them. My phone number is 859-797-0414

Hi there, I'm sorry you need to rehome your chickens!

Are you in Morehead, Kentucky? There are people from all over the world on here; city names sometimes get repeated in different locations. You could also try posting to your state thread.

If you could ship them I would take them but I'm all the way in SD. Why does the city want you to get rid of them?

The city council change the ordinance for having chickens and now we are in violation. Thank you so much for your interest, but I am afraid of what shipping would do to them. If anyone is interested in my area, I would bring them to you.

I'm in Morehead, too (out in the county, though). I don't have room for any more chickens, but I will ask around and let you know if I find anyone looking to start/add to their flock.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the help with rehoming my chickens. My sweet girls are in a new home now.
