Please help me!!!!! (sad update on omelet)

Omelet died in her coop this morning. She was the last chicken I had that was from my very first chickens. I hate myself!!!!!!! I feel like I could of done something better to help her!!!!!!!!!!!

listen DO NOT blame yourself you did not kill this chicken, you DID do all you could. It totally sucks but none of it is your fault, period. You say you loved her most, well then I am willing to bet you gave her the greatest life possible. You did right by her she was a happy chicken and knew she was loved.

I hate when I loose a favorite chicken. You did the best you could and made her last moments better. If you ever have this trouble think about treating for Coccidia. Some systoms they have have are:
Weak, pale coloring
Sitting in a corner or off by themselves
Often have a puffed up appearance, or ruffled - hard to see w.frizzle
constant sleeping, or sleeping a lot
disinterest in food/ friends
weight loss
Sometimes blood in poop, sometimes you don't see it
Here in Fl it seems to happen more often......

Oh! I'm so sorry! Everybody, even the little everybodies with feathers, has a time to go. I'm glad the little critter had love and a good home with you.

A very wise friend told me once that it is never your fault. God decided it was her time to go. There is nothing you could of done ,but to pat yourself on the back because you gave her a very happy and good life while on this earth. Don't beat yourself up. God knows when it is peoples or animals time to go. I blamed myself to when I lost my 2 babies. All I know is I gave them a wonderfull life until they had to go.
