Please help me save my bird

Did you see the previous post from Wyorp saying that what you are dosing is only 1/2 a dose?
Yes, she has been on one whole pill every morning at 8 and seems normal. She is thin. She isn't gaining weight. Yesterday she weighed 518g. But she isn't actively losing. I'm terrified to put her back with the flock. I think they are going to be exceedingly cruel to her. Dr Porter said to keep them in qt until after he has examined these two chicks as much as he can.

Good to read that Doc may have compassion for you after all. Thank you for the update.

Nothing new today. No new emails

Bird still has lackluster appetite and clear watery stool with little food in it.
Thank you for the update. I was wondering if you had heard anything. Have you tried offering her scrambled eggs? Actually, I've had sick birds that showed no interest in scrambled eggs, but they couldn't resist live wiggling meal worms. I grow my own, but most pet stores sell mealworms.

She'll eat snacks. Cheese is her favorite. But I'm not sure how healthy it is for her to eat this stuff, I'm trying to get her to eat regular food :(

Have you tried wetting her feed? My hens tend to dive right in when their feed is moistened. Ocassionally they don't show great interest when I offer them moistened feed (probably because they aren't very hungry), but when i then stir the feed with my finger and they see the clumps, they've never been able to resist that.
