Please help me troubleshoot my incubator

OMG! One of them has a pip! Its only day 19! Its also pretty far away from the air sack, is that normal?

I put some holes in the plastic wrap, so now the humidity is at almost 70%, and the temp is holding at about 101 with the lid ajar.

Wow! That's exciting! But yes, it does look a little low. Day 19 doesn't surprise me, especially at your higher temps. When did you stop turning and raise the humidity? Once the humidity is upped, and they start working into better position, the air cell does draw down, but I wouldn't expect them to draw down that much by day 19. But still, if its ready, it could still knock itself out of there and just be a low zipper. Can you hear any chirping? I would say this early, just keep a good eye on it, and make sure it stays active.... fluffs of that little shell piece, chirps, bobbles, etc. Sing to it, talk to it, play baby chicks chirping to it!

Here's a pic I took (screenshot of a video actually) while candling through the window of one of my ducks. Notice the pencil line, but then you can see how far down the air cell actually went. Keep us posted and good luck!!

The one next to it has pipped too. Hearing chirping from both, and rocking too. I've hardly slept for worrying and excitement! Its been at least 15 hours since the first pip. The kids didn't want to go to bed afraid they would miss it, but looks like chicky waited for them!

Oh, and I last turned them yesterday am (I had my days mixed up so it was a day late) and covered the small aquarium with plastic to raise humidity.

Sounds like everything is going great! I would just sit back and watch! Temps & humidity sound good. Once mine started hatching humidity went up to about 80%, then settled back around 70-75%, so don't worry if it goes up. And some of mine zipped quick and popped out and others took their time. This is the most exciting day! Enjoy it! Are the kids staying home from school to see the action? I picked mine up early thinking they would miss it because one had already popped out and then all was quiet for about 6 hours! (Of course they came home early for nothing)!

We homeschool, so this is a very exciting biology lesson! My 10 yo just said he will remember this day forever because its the most exciting day ever! Now 4 have pipped. I did help the mispositioned one open up the shell flap a bit, and I'm using a qtip to keep the membranes moist. As soon as the piece of shell came away, she stuck her little beak out and peeped at us :)

Awww, I'm so happy they are pipping for you. And its great that your kids are excited about it!

Has anything oozed out of the malpositioned one? Other than its beak, or course, lol! Sounds like you are doing great. I predict at least one should be out very soon. The first usually takes the longest, then the popcorn starts. I forgot how many you have in there?

No oozing, just a beak and LOTS of movement. There are 15 in there, and 4 have pipped. I've seen movement and noise from almost all the others too :)
