Not a mirror yet, he has a stuffed animal and extra attention lately. Just a small mirror though, nothing special?

I only got pictures from when we went to play for a bit outside, I hope these are okay. He has also had a few normal poops in between these so I’m starting to think it’s probably that he’s sad and misses Little Bit.

Our tractor supply’s are out at the moment I am going to be calling everyday and bugging them until they get some more haha I also posted of the BYC forum in case there was anyone near me who has a duckling pal for Tweety

Did you give him mirror? Even though I didn’t have a lone duckling mine loved laying in front of the mirror looking at those duckling.

Were you able to buy a food scale? I strongly suggest getting a food scale and weighing them daily, because a lack of gain or weight loss is usually an indicator that they are sick.

Hi! I have some good news, the tractor supply got in some pekin ducklings and we are going to pick one up later today! Any tips on how to get them intergraded fast if there is any trouble? Thanks again

Well there is going to be a difference in size so I’d keep them in the same brooder but make a screen to keep them separate but where they can see each other. You can use clear plastic or some kind of screen I made one using a piece of scrap hard ware cloth and wrapped the edges in gorilla tape so none would get poked. Congrats and we need pics. Hopefully in a few days your tiny one can move right in with Tweety!
