How do I pluck the down? Will she feel that? And would shining a flash light to make it translucent then taking a picture show it instead?

Try that until @casportpony gives instruction on plucking down.

For now, to keep him company, you can set a stuffed animal and a mirror in his brooder, and sometimes I'll play nature music as well. TSC should have ducklings right now, If not you can try the Arkansas state forum or try posting in the buy/sell forums on BYC.

Thank you so much we got him a stuffed bunny that would be about the size little bit was. Do you think he will accept a new little guy or be upset? I know I would be standoffish but they aren’t people haha
