Poor little thing, that's huge! If you manipulate it, does it feel like air inside? Or is it more solid or squishy?
@Pyxis I think it feels more like a balloon, when I think more solid and squishy I think like a thawed out gel ice pack I know that sounds weird but would that be an accurate representation? Also, I just private messaged you

Hmm. I'll be honest, I've never dealt with this myself. I think it might be best to wait until Kathy gets on and can take a look, and give her opinion. For now, I wouldn't do anything until she weighs in, but from what you're saying and how big that is, I think it's possible that it's a ruptured air sac.

This looks like what my duck admiral Quackbar had. We took him to the vet and they drained the fluid in his neck and it ended up being saliva. We put him on antibiotics and such but it only stayed drained for a couple days before it filled back up again. He had a clogged salivary glands and for a duck, there isn’t really much you can do about it. For a dog, they remove the clogged salivary gland.
Admiral Quackbar didn’t end up making it.
I would take Little Bit to the vet to have it drained. That will determine if it’s survivable.
quackbars next wasnt hard but felt like stuff was in it. And he did the head bobbing when he was trying to get food or water down- the clogged salivary gland swells and puts pressure against the esophagus.
