Please help me with my duckling!

That is fine to feed them. But it doesn’t have the niacin that ducklings need so we have to supplement. We rec Liquid B complex at TSC because it’s fast acting. Don’t let them talk you into anything else

Do you have a scale that you can start weighing it on daily? I have seen the crooked neck before, but not the head bobbing, not sure what that means. If it were mine I would start weighing it daily on a food scale monitor is weight gain.

I’m so sorry! My email didn’t send the notification that you replied. I don’t have a food scale I could see about trying to get one, going out right now is slightly hard because I’m imunocompromised. Are there any alternatives to that? I can’t really get a good picture of her neck. It’s just very swollen and she’s losing feathering a little around where it’s swollen. She seems to be eating and drinking without any issues. Thank you.

Scale would be best, Human scales aren't the most accurate. Is there any chance you can get a scale or have someone get one for you?

When I got my ducklings a few weeks ago one was popping the tar like yours was

I had the same type of chick mash that you had. I mixed in some oats and some yeast. Maybe like 80% the feed and 20% oats. And would scramble them an egg every few days. They loved the egg and got excited when they saw me bring it. Took a couple days but he perked up

I’m new to ducks though so I may have just got lucky with it. Looking forward to seeing what some more tenured duck owners have to say
