Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

The beak is about 1/2 centimeter away from the pip in the membrane. I can see it under the membrane though. Should I make a hole over the beak?
If he’s LOUDLY peeping and the membrane is moist and you’re 100% positive there are no active veins in the vicinity you can very very carefully open the pip towards his beak and move the beak gently out the hole in membrane. That’s what I’ve done. And in situations like this or even normal hatches sometimes there’s a little blood. That’s normal. As long as it doesn’t keep bleeding. But I would def put him back in. Can you determine how he’s laying? Is this still the chick who zipped most of the way and stopped?

This is a good article for assisting hatching

My husband always tells me to leave the chicks alone. And this last batch I got 100% hatch rate because I listened to him. My first hatch he told me to leave them alone and I didn’t listen and I got around 75-80% hatch rate.
