If he’s LOUDLY peeping and the membrane is moist and you’re 100% positive there are no active veins in the vicinity you can very very carefully open the pip towards his beak and move the beak gently out the hole in membrane. That’s what I’ve done. And in situations like this or even normal hatches sometimes there’s a little blood. That’s normal. As long as it doesn’t keep bleeding. But I would def put him back in. Can you determine how he’s laying? Is this still the chick who zipped most of the way and stopped?The beak is about 1/2 centimeter away from the pip in the membrane. I can see it under the membrane though. Should I make a hole over the beak?
