Please Help Muffin!! UPDATE: HE IS BETTER!

I treated Muffin as if he had Marecks for a week, Honestly, I thought he was dead for sure. Comb turned purple he slept all day and I was just going to let him go and send him off for necropsy to see what it was. He kept fighting, I read a thread on here about Selinium deficiency, so I went and bought Vit E w/Selinium in it. He hates me for it, but for the laste few days I have given him that, he is out of the sling and walking around the cage, his left leg is still not fully functional but he is not shaking and can balance himself easily!
I will continue the Selinium for a few more days and see how he is.

I just saw your post. You are such a good mama. And he is hansome! I hope he makes it!

It is hard when we have sick chickens we are attached too, I am going through that now.

Muffin is walking much better today and his right foot is not curled up anymore. He is still weak, but he spent a month in a sling so understandably it is going to take time to get his strength back. I put my hand in the cage to move him so I could clean the cage and he crawled up my arm! I gave the VitE/Selinium Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun. Now I will give it every other day for the rest of the week and see how he does.
