If it's bad for peas, it's bad for all poultry... Many people use it or life and mites on their chickens.

Omg the maggots hatche'd & there's MILLIONS, ugh!
I had a hen that looked like that, I think she broke her hip flying out of her fence after I cliped all their wings on one side. Her legs did move but she never did get up. After a week I put her down.
This was the wound I found on my turkey, sorry for the nasty graphic picture. It was full of thousands of maggots and they were burrowing into her flesh. I went to TSC and got "Swat" a fly repellant wound ointment for horses. The maggots literally backed out of her and threw themselves off, she was maggot free after a couple of hours. Prior to getting the Swat I tried to suffocate them by applying a super thick coating of Vaseline, however it did not even phase them. I will never be caught without Swat again. I'll attach the whole series of pics so you can see how well she healed up.
