Crowing
one of my barnyard mix bantams, Daisy, has somehow injured herself. She was normal this morning, but when I let them out into their free range pen after school today, I noticed that she was walking a bit strange and seemed more hunched up, but she appeared to be normal after I threw some cracked corn down and went running over with the rest, so I went inside for about an hour. When I went to put them back in, she was walking really weirdly, all wobbly and confused, occasionally lifting up a wing and turning a bit. So I picked her up to examine her and then she was really struggling and got out of my arms and fell (which I feel horrible about) when I put her down on the paper towel on the table she couldn’t really stand and was sitting on her whole leg, still very hunched up. Her left leg was soft of bent inwards, she was also shivering. My dad went and got a box with some towels in it and I put her in there with water, some oats, and wet food. I know that she has eaten her wet food and pecked her oats, but I’m not sure that she has had any water. I’m just not sure what’s wrong, the shivering has stopped, and I can’t really see her legs, but she has had a normal poop. She keeps scraping her beak and though there’s something on it and clicking up and down a lot. She also occasionally has a cough/sneeze/“bock!”. I just don’t know what’s wrong with her...
