It was past 24 hours since our duckling pipped not much progress was going on, we started to help it along and when it had hatched (what looks like the yolk sac) is still attached. Will our baby make it and if so how long will it take to absorb?

if the humidity and temp stay right it can take like 7 hours to absorb its yolk sac. need to keep its surroundings clean and sterile so no bacteria gets it

Oh, I hope and pray all is well. I don't know about incubating. Might I suggest you add a phrase to your title so people who do have more experience will know you need their expertise?

*UPDATE* So the sac is gone but a tiny bit he/she wants to still lay there but only on one side it wont move to the other side. He does move around like a scoot but not yet holding up its head or walking.
