Please help. Predator attack and a sick acting Hen!

I moved her to my mudroom and she is eating some shredded carrots that I put in her dish of layer pellets and corn which is their usual food and she is looking much better, her face , comb and wattles are a much brighter red than they were Sunday and she has no problem going to the bathroom let me tell you! Whew!
She has a touch of frostbite so the tip of her comb is a yellow/white color so I'm also keeping an eye on that but for now all is well. :)

Yep I've got some 'jelly and I have that on her.
:) Thank you, I'm glad too. I want to get her back out into my flock before they make it too hard for her to get integrated back in.

If she's eating and drinking well and her wounds are not noticeable, I would try and get her back to her flock as soon as possible. Sometimes if you put her on the roost after dark helps. Just check as early as you can in morning to see how she's doing

Thanks chickflick but I just wentvand checkedvon her and her foot is now turning green. Its notvon the toe that has the cut though. I put some antibiotic on it now and she seems fine except for that but I know that that means infection. Is there any meds I can give her? I may be able to run out to TSC and pick up antibiotics or something. Thankfully i found it now i guess so I atleast have a cyance to get tid of it right?

I haven't given any antibiotics to my chickens so don't know much about that. Talk to someone at TSC and see what they say. Make sure the person knows what they're talking about. But the meds should help with the infection

Okay thanks. My mom talked to a vet she knows last night and he said that if I just keep applying this antibiotic ointment I have she should be alright but last night I found a cut by her wing, between her wing and by her crop and it had scabbed over. I don't know how I missed it when I checked her over three times so after I mentally kicked myself around I applied the ointment around it so hopefully this works. I'll see if I can't get to TSC and find any other meds and I'll ask around too. Thanks so much for all the help chickflick.

It's easy to miss things with all those feathers! It couldn't have been too bad if you missed it three times!! Just apply the ointment on the wound. It'll absorb into the wound. Is the hen doing ok? Eating? Drinking? pooping?

Yeah I guess so but it did look nasty so I hope that ointment works.
She seems to be, most of this morning she just sat on the little bar I put in for her to roost on but then again the cage is a bit cramped so all she can really do is sit there of stand in the center so that's not too bad. She eat a little and drank some water I gave her this morning, I'm going to shred some more carrots and celery tonight maybe and see if she doesn't eat that.
She does poop, its not runny though so that must be good but it is green and smells but all chicken poop smells so that's not abnormal though I'm not sure what color of poop is 'healthy' :)

gosh, Chicken poop smells and there are so many different "types" of poop! Got some baloney? or some extra meat? Good protein. Or cheese?? yogurt is good, too!!
