Please Help! Raccoon Problem!!! Click Here!!!!!!!!

Once you trap you have to DO something with them. For most USA places that means...

-Finding a place where you're legally allowed to release them (ie getting permission from a private landowner to release the coon there)
-Killing them (how? Most places like this shooting a gun is illegal, drowning is animal cruelty, etc)
-Send them to a rehab center? Most won't take em....
-Pay someone to take the trapped coon away (better be licensed for it...)

In general trapping just gives you a trapped raccoon, which is not less of a problem.

The three S’s or a modified version could help.

They can't shoot it with a blow gun or a pellet gun or something? That's weird. I've never lived in a city so I guess I'm not aware of all of the regulations.
I would find some way to kill it. They get into so much trouble and spread disease.

Nope. It's a great way to get arrested or fined when you get reported by your neighbor that lives 10 feet away from you and has security cameras. And I'm not willing to drown an animal, it's not humane. So exclusion exclusion exclusion.

Like I said, my city sent an old lady to jail for hitting a deer with a shovel (yes really, there was outrage about it and her sentence got knocked down to community service). She was "protecting her garden". That was a long a time ago but it's not worth the risk.

Wow, that's ridiculous.

This is why I will never live in a city.
