Please help! Tumor on chicken neck?

just discovered a large abscess/tumor on my chickens neck, and yes it is separate rom her crop, which feels normal. She is still eating and drinking, and acting normal. The large bump looks very clean and smooth, and has feathers on it. I will attach so,e pictures. What could be wrong? @wyor @WVduckchick @casportpony @rebrascora @KikisFlock

Is it about the size of a golf ball or plum?

Is it on the right hand side slightly off center?

@staceyj No it is on the left side up high. It’s not hercrop.

Does it feel tied in to anything? Or is it easily manipulated?
Can you make your fingers touch behind it?

Also is it rock hard or does it have a slight amount of “give”?

It’s definetily attached to her, I cannot feel behind it, she doesn’t love it when I touch it. Also it is quite hard.

Don’t you recall any pecking injuries 3-6 weeks ago?
