Please help! What breed is this?

We had new staff at our local farm store this spring and many orders were not correct. I am not sure what this chicken is. Her tail is longer than all of my other hens, legs are not feathered and dark and she has a green sheen. Hope the pictures are good enough. She wouldn't stand still for me. Ha!

What breed was she supposed to be?

She looks a lot like my White Faced Black Spanish pullets did, but I can't see her earlobes. I want to guess a black Andalusian, a Minorca or another Mediterranean breed abecause she looks racy and big tailed like one. Does she lay yet? If yes, what color egg? @azygous @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock anyone else have any ideas?

What hatchery does the store get their chicks from? I’ve never seen a breed in black with such a fanned tail from a hatchery before.

She's from Hoover's hatchery. She was 'supposed' to be a Midnight Majesty Maran. I've attached another pic of her so you can see her head better.

Also...not sure if she's laying yet...I haven't caught her in a nesting box.

Looks like she’s one of their new minorcas (they come in both rose and single combed varieties).

I take that back. Her record was usurped by a white leghorn

Yep...you are probably right! I went from looking forward to getting dark chocolate brown eggs to ...getting white. Oh well! She is a friendly chicken, so I am grateful for that!
