My white maran pullet has been listless for 3 days now. She has a very small, firm lump in her crop. There is no smell. I have syringe fed her warm water, and have gotten it to soften. I did give some vegetable oil yesterday as well. She will take the fluids I give but as soon as she puts her head down just a little it all comes right back out! I've never dealt with anything like this before but she is obviously now losing a ton of weight. I did try to vomit her last night and her crop felt empty afterwards, this morning the small lump is back. What do I do next? I want to try to remedy this at home if at all possible. Last time I had a duck at the vet it was over $600 and I can not afford that right now.

Yes I have. Everything talks about it being hard and large. Hers is hard and small. She will drink water by a syringe (not tubing). I did give her water with vitamins/electrolytes and probiotics. Yesterday I gave her some yogurt with active cultures. I was able to massage her crop empty but this morning it's the same..maybe she has a blockage further down? She's a young pullet, should start laying next month and they all free range all day. No signs of worms or coccidiosis either.

Here she is. She's had 6cc of warm water/probiotics/vitamins and electrolytes this afternoon. Will give her 9ml and let her rest. She was clean this morning and I found her out in the sand pit so she has been out dusting today. Her crop was a bit smaller this afternoon and there was some poo stuck to her vent feathers so perhaps things are moving?? Fingers crossed
