Please help with pumpkin!

We have a lot of chickens, but none as special as pumpkin.
As strange as it is, pumpkin is my younger brothers pet chicken. She lives inside with him and they adore each other. A couple days ago she got lethargic so we took her to the vet. They held her overnight, ran blood tests, gave her calcium injections, fluids and tube fed her. She didn’t improve so they did X-rays, they saw something possibly foreign so they ran a lead test and it came back negative and said it wasn’t foreign. I unfortunately had to take her home because we just couldn’t afford another night at the hospital.
they said she wouldn’t eat anything there and to feed her whatever she would eat. She LOVES potato chips and we did get her to eat a couple. I also read about canned cat food helping lethargic chickens get some nutrients back in them so I watered some down this morning and syringe fed it to her. She is also getting nutridrench and electrolytes in her water.
she gets calcium 2 times daily from the vet. Her poop is green, which I read can mean worms. They didn’t run a fecal..would it be okay for me to deworm her?
Is there anything else I can do for her? We are very worried about her and want to do everything we can.
pumpkin is a Belgian d’uccle if that helps in any way

Call your vet and ask for an antibiotic to try Pumpkin on. And yes, it won't hurt to worm her. You've paid the vet enough money, this is the least they can do for you.

I have ivermectin paste for horses. Can I just give her a drop of that? I also have 500mg of amoxicillin for fish. Could I give her that (not the full dose) or should I call them and ask for something else? I did ask once and they said no but I’ll call and ask again

Divide the amoxy dose in half so you'll be giving 250mg per day. I've had good luck dipping a tiny morsel of bread in olive oil and then using that the sop the amoxy powder. No chicken turns down a morsel of bread dipped in olive oil.

Ivermectin is okay, but it won't kill certain types of worms. Safeguard for horses is more inclusinve of all worm species.

I gave the vet a call again asking for antibiotics and they actually offered to run a fecal free of charge, and if was negative they would give her antibiotics.
they’re closed tomorrow though and I dropped the decal off pretty close to closing time so they just gave me antibiotics and will still run the fecal. Fingers crossed something works for the sweet girl

Talk about proactive. I have seen so many boards where people ask for help and then don't take any of the advice or take any action. Your quick action really shows how much you care for your bird. Hope they get the results soon for you.

Would corrid be something I could try with her as well? I know they antibiotics and corrid are kind of opposites but because we don’t really know exactly what’s going on with her right now we’re kind of just throwing everything at her. I’m worried that if I wait for her fecal to come back on Monday it will be too late.
She isn’t pooping blood, but she is acting like my chickens who had coccidia did when they had it last year.

Corid is very often used in conjunction with an antibiotic when intestinal necrosis is suspected. Any time is a good time to use Corid. It only blocks thiamine in the intestines so refrain from using vitamins during treatment.

I started pumpkin on corrid this Am, unfortunately she’s not looking well at all.
We’re sitting with her now petting her and telling her how much we love her. My heart is absolutely broken right now for her and my brother.
