Please help with sick peacock

Okay I have another question. I had bought my sick peachick with her brother, now he doesnt have any symptoms and I have been keeping a close eye on him. Hes outside in the coop and shes inside in my hospital coop lol. But she was outside and they were together until I noticed she was real bad off. Do you guys recommend I treat my whole crew of peacocks as well as chickens just to be safe because they were all together in our 40' x 40' coop.

Hey at our local feed store the only safeguard they have is in pill form in a 4oz. Bottle. Would that work if I crushed it up and added water?

Pill form? How many mg of Fenbendazole does it say? You might want to see if they have Safeguard horse paste, that might be better. No Tractor Supply near you? They should have the liquid in the goat/cattle section and the paste in the horse section.

Im not sure I just called amd for some reason I cant get much information out of the people who work there! Im going to try the tractor supply store here in Ada ok. Im sure they will have liquid form.

Liquid is easier to use, but you can use paste. Note that they are not labeled for poultry, so don't let them try to sell you Wazine (piperazine), you need Safeguard (Fenbendazole), period, lol.

Hello

im wondering if I could get some help with this. When worming 16 chickens and 5 peacocks going from 2 months to 3 years of age how much safeguard would I use and should I put it in theirIfood?

I use 1 cc per bird i mix it with scrambled eggs and oatmeal and they eat it all, i do this for 3 days

mixing it with grain will work also but make sure you wet it down good so it is like a mush consistency

some folks put it in the water at 3 cc pr gallon but i just don;t think they get enough especially sense some drink alot less like non laying peas are not going to drink near as much as a chicken hen from what i have observed
