Please HELP

thats ok :) maybe the lady you the two deceased pullets from got them were sick chickens and when you adopted them they were so stressed from switching home that they them passed away. As for your sick hen does have something stuck in her throat? does she have clear eyes and clear beak? is she wheezing or coughing?

No coughing or wheezing. Doesn't seem to have anything stuck in her throat as she's not gagging or anything. But I haven't opened her beak to look in there. She is drinking and pecking at seed occasionally. Came to me when I walked in the pen but she's very lethargic. Clear eyes and clear beak yes.

I've just put her in a spare pen but inside a cage with fresh straw / food and water too. Is there anything else I can do for her?

I bathe my sick chicken in espom salt bathes and they actually love it then i blow them dry i call it the 'Spa Treatment' :) You could go to the vet but they usaully dont know whats wrong with it and will ask for blood tests which cost hundreds of dollars. I am dealing with the same thing at the moment with a pekin pullet. Has everything that your hen has well i guess i will have to wait until tomorrow. I will keep you apdated with my pullet :)

I'm not sure what else to do. I really hope we don't loose her overnight.

Just updating this post. My hen is back to her normal happy self.

I ended up buying Sulfur 3 and adding to the water as well as some probiotics and she came good in 2/3 days.

I've upped the protein in her diet to hopefully put more weight on her too.
