Please help

It's hard to know for sure if he will make it. Denaguard is excellent in treating if caught early enough. I'm sure someone else will come along and give you some other thoughts on meds. The one I mentioned is only sold online I believe. If your boy makes it, he will always be a carrier.. something to think about.

Sorry you are going through this. Always remember some do's and dont's. Always say no to other chicken owners to come around your chickens. Upper respiratory in chickens is very contagious...on shoes! Never go into another chicken owners flock area. Now that you are pretty sure it's an upper respiratory problem, ... wash hands before handleing anything out there with your chickens. If you are going to handle another chicken, change your shirt..at least. Good luck with your boy.

Thank you for the help if he does make it can he ever have a girlfriend or will he have to be a only chick because he will carry it

The thing is, he can get sick again. Another chance of giving it to the rest of the flock. Mating while he is well shouldn't hurt them.

Ok cool so I was looking at tylan is that a good one to give him and how would I find out a dosage he is a Japanese bantam so he is probably only a pound

You can give the Tylan 50 orally 1/4 cc bantam, 1/2 cc standard once a day for five days.

Are both of his eyes swollen shut, and does he have drainage or pus inside them? Does he have a bad odor about his face, or thick nasal drainage? I agree with Wyorp Rock that it looks like he has a crusty area on his right ear that might be infection. How long ago did you lose the other chicken?

Tylan 50 is readily available at most feed stores, and it can treat symptoms of MG mycoplasma. It really needs to be given 3 times a day, and I would give 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days. You can remove the needle and give it orally into his beak instead of a shot or injection.
Where are you located? If you lose this one, you should refrigerate his body, contact your state vet, and get a necropsy. Here is a link:
