There should be a few pet store in Toronto that cater to chickens as well, taking advantage of the backyard chicken pilot project. You may have some luck if you call a few places. Do you know where your chicken feed comes from?

There’s no chicken grit in the pet stores. Also yes from tsc but I check their website don’t have grit

The TSC site DOES NOT show all of their in store stock items. Store stock varies from store to store. My TSC orders grit and oyster shell for me, it takes about a week, week and a half and they call me to pick it up when it comes in. Call your local store.

So I called a friend whose in Brampton, finding grit is a real issue for people in the GTA and they often end up using natural, uncoloured fish tank gravel as a grit substitute.

I called them they said they have no more left

I even asked them to order some and they said they don’t have anything by the name of grit
