PLEASE HELP!!!

We have a mama hen who hatched 11 eggs successfully. We kept her and her chicks inside while we were upgrading the coop. She is a very good mama, and cares for her babies very much. But when we took her outside with her chicks and put them in the pen, she started pecking at them viciously, clearly trying to kill them. We brought her back inside Angie immediately took to her chicks! Please give me your advice on what to do! She can’t stay in the House forever!

No only attacks and chases them when she’s outside, seems like she doesn’t recognize them.
