PLEASE HELP!

Wrapping a bandage too tight can cause the chicken to lose the foot. If you are in any doubt, leave the bandage off. But you need to keep the wound clean so wash it every day and use the Neosporin. It will stop bacteria from growing. The other stuff won't.

If you cut into the foot looking for pus, that was probably not the best way to do it. Sometimes you run into the wrong information here. Or sometimes you don't understand the right information, and mistakes are made.

The proper way to treat bumblefoot often involves not slicing into the foot. Soak for twenty minutes to soften the black bumble scab, then simply scrape it off with your thumbnail. The solid pus plug usually comes off with the scab. If your chicken did not have a thick black scab, it was probably not bumblefoot.
Omg okay. Is she going to be alright? Thats my only worry. But how do I know if I wrapped it to tight? My mom is a nurse she wrapped it, so I have faith she did it right. Just worrying. Haha usual me!

Your mom probably would know what she's doing even if she wasn't a nurse. But you should watch your hen when she walks. If the bandage is too tight, it will cut off the blood supply and she will lose feeling in the foot, causing her to stumble.

You should also check her foot each twice each day for swelling. If the foot is wrapped too tightly, there will be swelling on the leg just above the bandage.

I bet your mother has already told you these things.

Agree with @azygous (of course as she is the go-to expert!).
You gotta calm down @Themellowyellows, you won’t get better info with multiple posts!
The neosporin you used is fine.
The fact you didn’t use prid is also fine.
That you saw some blood is fine.

I am sure your Mom did a great job with the bandage. To get used to how tight you can wrap do some practice on your own little finger. It will give you a feel for how to use vetwrap. I find it quite forgiving.

Photos from the thread I was helping you on that you started 11days ago and is pages long.

Hopefully you can get better information and can this get issue resolved.

Is it bothering her? If not, then leave it alone and monitor for now.

Push all that yellow pus and plug out of the foot. Irrigated the hole, pack with triple antibiotic ointment, wrap the foot.

Did you push the plug out?

No, am I supposed too?

The plug needs to be removed.

You may want to look up some bumblefoot videos and watch them.

The pus/kernel has to be pushed, plucked or pulled out. I understand that you don't want to hurt her and it's something new to learn, we all have to learn these things.

After soaking the foot, wrap her up in a towel to capture her wings so you can work on the foot. Start working the plug/pus out of the foot. Pack the hole with triple antibiotic ointment. Wrap her foot up and let her go.

She did, but thanks to clarify!

I practiced it is lol! I should calm down, either way she will go to a better place but she is only 6-7 months so I love her and want her to live but thats not up to me to decided. Im sure my mom did good but im a very worried person lol.

Side note, I did not use Neosporin I used "Duoderm hydroactive gel." Placed a order for drawing salve and neosporin original. Comming tomorrow. The picture is from one I found in a first aid kit lol.
