Pics of sick turkeys please help with this so i can treat them the right way .



Can anyone please tell me what is going on here because i dont want to lose my babys they have mucous in the mouth and nose area i have been cleaning them up every day and it does not seam to be working is there anything else i can do for them because i have been giving them a antibiotic and VetRx as well and nothing seams to be doing any good .
Can anyone help please before it is to late .

How are you giving antibiotic? Thats showing the signs of sinus/resp infection in your little one.

By water it is Tetroxy HCA-280 that is what i have been giving them .

Get some tylan 50 and give it by injection sub-cue (under the skin) 4 days in a row. The water solubles dont really seem to work the greatest for actual treatment. How much does the little one weight?

My hen weights about 10 to 15 pounds and my toms are about 23 pounds, i have like 5 turkeys that have it out of 10 but most seam to be ok and i keep a very good eye on them so no more get sick . Thank you for helping me out with this and i will be getting some Tylan 50 for them .

Good. Id go 2.5 cc on the hens split in 2 doses. the toms 3-4cc split dose as well for 4-5 days and follow that with 5 days of tylan 50 in the water. 2cc per gallon. Tylan is nasty and bitter ( yes i found out the hard way lol) so make sure they only have once water source or they'll avoid it. If you can get tylan 200 it may make it easier but you cut the dose to 1/4 of t50
