Well I have seperated her and syringe fed some duramycin-10 medicated water. She is refusing her food so I guess I am going to try cat food?? I did not find any shell pieces when I examined her cloaca. She is acting so depressed...if any one has any other thoughts I would appreciate reading them!

Well despite all my efforts Black Beauty passed early this morning... I am greatful that she didn't suffer for long and I'm going to miss her sassy little self! Thank you to everyone who tried to help!!

Oh my, she went so fast. I wonder if she wasn't egg bound with a shell-less egg after all. Do you think you could do a necropsy to find out? I would not do it if I didn't want to--sometimes it's hard with a special pet. So sorry for you loss.

I have been considering it, just to rule out a contagion. I didn't know they could be egg bound with a shell-less egg?!?! What should I look for? I palpated an egg in her shell gland, I think, and it was real squishy so I assumed she wasn't egg bound..

You could just do the lower abdomen to look inside the oviduct and cloaca for an egg. It might make you feel better knowing. Here are 2 good links with pictures to help:
