My daughter lost one of her 4week old pullers tragically today. If we get a new chick one day to one week old will the other two 4weekers kill it? She is devastated and was the one to find it.

Three weeks separation in age is my maximum. A newborn should not be in with 4 week old chicks.

Yes, I got some ducklings and gosling a week in a half ago, with one blind. The hatchery replaced placed the duck, but the single couldn't stay alone..she ended up dying (squashed by the big birds who were one week older) :hit
So I think it might not be a good idea, unless the new born was a big as the others

Thank you everyone! We found a chick the same age as the others and she is fitting right in.
